Guiding young people through life’s storms Rainbows, an international organisation, provides a bridge to emotional healing for children, adolescents and adults confronting death, divorce or other life altering crises “because it doesn’t need to hurt forever”.

Today more than half the nation’s youth struggle with issues of loss. Rainbows provides age appropriate, community based grief support programs for children and teens coping with the emotional pain of loss.

As a Registered director, I train volunteers in schools and community agencies to facilitate the Rainbows program.

Grief Support(Rainbows)

Text Box: Parents tell us their children are more open about their feelings at home, and that there is more of a sense of family again. Teachers report the children in the program are improving academically, and in some cases there have been positive behavioural changes.
