Text Box: ... there are many opportunities to acknowledge and joyfully celebrate our journey through life…using appropriate poetry, prose, music, choreography and symbolism...woven into a meaningful ceremony.
Gemma

There are many other important occasions in your life’s journey that you may wish to celebrate.

How I can help…

Namings
·  A ceremony of welcome and recognition for a new child in your family and the community. Together we explore the meaning of this occasion and create a ceremony that reflects your values and family story.

Birthdays
·  Why not include a ceremony to celebrate important milestones? I have a wide range of resources to inspire you.

Adolescence
·  “The Journey” is a specific program for adolescents conducted over 3-5 days. It includes a rite of passage that is often forgotten in our modern society. I work with young people and their friends to create a ceremony that reflects this time of transition.

Divorce
·  There is a need for a ritual of closure that deals with the grief and loss associated with divorce but also acknowledges possibilities for a new beginning. We can create an intimate ceremony that reflects this change in your life.

Sophia Ceremony (also known as Croning)
·
This ceremony celebrates the wisdom of the older woman in our community. A crone is an ancient, and honourable term for a woman who has made the transition through maturity to that of wise woman. Modern croning ceremonies can be very lively events and are usually celebrated once a person has reached 60 years of age.
